GBTA Update
Dave Hilfman
Executive Director at GBTA | Global Business Travel Association

To RFP or Not To RFP, That is the question for 2021 Hotel Programs
There have been many discussions in the industry whether travel buyers should or shouldn’t do the hotel RFP for the 2021 rates.
Hotels are pushing buyers to roll over the 2020 rates to 2021, whereas other industry voices are saying that buyers should not automatically roll over if they want to keep their jobs.
We will hear from the experts about the topic, while we also gather feedback from the buyer panelists.

Learning Outcomes:
1)      What determines your 2021 RFP strategies?
2)      How do you negotiate when your future hotel spend is not clear?
3)      Is dynamic pricing really the right solution?
4)      What information will you need to get ready?

Kim Kearns - Senior Director, Strategic Hotel Relations - BCD Travel
